В семействе есть сумки разного объема, Classic это две по 20 литров, Pro это две по 35 литров. Еще бывает приписка плюс, она у них универсальная и означает более легкий и эко-шмеко вариант из пропитанной кордуры, о чем они сами писали: "The BackRoller Pro are available in two different versions: Classic and Plus. The difference between these models is the construction material. The Classic utilises PVC-laminated polyester whereas the Plus uses a lighter weight and more environmentally-friendly PU-laminated cordura."

Системы крепления

В зависимости от году покупки та или иная модель может обладать системой крепления QuickLock 1 или 2.1. В интернетах был найден отзыв от Николая, у которого есть опыт использования обеих систем When I bought it, I found out a little bit about the suspension systems. Of course, I immediately thought that the newer QL 2.1 system would definitely be better than the older QL 2 or QL 1. Ortlieb writes about QL2: "This mounting system for bike bags is a further development of the ORTLIEB Quick-Lock1 mounting system that sets standards. Because all hooks Changing the bags to another bike is child's play without having to adjust the luggage rack without tools. In contrast to Quick-Lock1, this version can be retrofitted with an anti-theft device for the bike bags.

Now I have the two systems QL1 and QL2.1 compared. Both can be mounted on all common luggage carriers and adjusted to the respective tube diameter. With QL1, adjustment is only possible with an Allen key, but you only have to adjust the bag once, unless you are driving multiple wheels. With QL1 nothing wobbles. Theft protection cannot be retrofitted, but probably only a few need it. With QL2.1 you can easily adjust the seat of the bag without tools. Here is the negative point: This causes the loaded bag to wobble or rumble continuously. Since nothing is just tightened with a screw (see my video). So it would be nice if, for example, the following purchase recommendation was on the Internet so that you can find the right system for your requirements: For longer cycling trips we recommend the benchmark ORTLIEB Quick-Lock1 mounting system. Robust, functional, safe. For daily use on different bikes, we recommend the ORTLIEB Quick-Lock2 or 2.1, which can be adjusted to suit different luggage racks without tools. (New things are not necessarily better than the tried and tested) In retrospect, I would have preferred to buy bags with the QL1 system because I plan a longer trip by bike and do not need the quick change function. For me, stability is paramount. (Apart from the screw problem ) I have sold my QL2.1 bags, I will see whether I buy Ortlieb QL1 bags or find out from other manufacturers.
